As a single adult, I know first hand the challenges of being single. From feeling lonely at times, to struggle of dating, to family relationships, to having all the responsibilities of home and work on your shoulders. Although there are times when you do feel like you are alone, God has designed us to not be. He has put amazing people in my life as friends, as colleagues and supporters. My single journey has been amazing. As you discover that God's plan for you is where you are right now, in what you are doing, you will begin to see the joy that singleness can bring.

Starting a Singles Ministry? Not every church is called to have a singles ministry but all churches are called to minister to singles. Over half our country (US) is now single. Believe me, this was not God's choice. But never the less it is what it is.
However, with this growing trend, we have not seen the growth in singles in the church. Sometimes its budget, lack of Sunday school, lack of resources, etc. Perhaps God is calling you to start a singles ministry, or keep one going? Then you need to see my other website/ministry, The Singles Network.org that is literally the large resource to help singles and leaders/pastors start, grow and maintain their ministries. Literally hundreds of resources from various tools, to books, video's, newsletters, blogs, speakers, and so much more. At The Singles Network Ministries, my sole purpose is to assist pastors and leaders in building and maintaining their single's ministry. Successful singles ministry starts with helping single adults to: 1. Develop their identity in Christ 2. Find fulfillment in Christ 3. Pursue relationships with other believers 4. Grow in their relationship with Christ 5. Learn to disciple others Developing a single adult ministry is not about hosting social events or providing an environment for finding a mate. Instead, it's about teaching single adults to find Christ and, in turn, teach others to do the same. Relationships with each other will develop naturally as a result of group members having right relationships with Christ. ..we have had the privilege of having Kris at the last two of our statewide Single Adult Leadership Conferences, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive to her each time. Kris brings a great combination of passion and preparation to all she does. She loves single adults and it shows in her presentation, in her writing, and in how she immediately throws herself into building relationships with those present as soon as she walks into the room. She is definitely a game changer! She’ll raise the stakes and do a great job every time. We’ve been very pleased. A Bit of ComedyKris also does some comedy, emcees, sharing her funny stories of her crazy adentures.
